Kitten Adoption and Rescue at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic
TCVC offers kittens and occasionally adult cats for adoption. Most of the kittens are stray or abandoned kittens that our clients have found or rescued. All of our stray kittens and cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV or Feline AIDS) prior to adoption. All of the kittens are current on vaccinations and dewormings as well. Many are spayed or neutered if they are old enough. We require an adoption fee and an agreement to continue the vaccinations and to have the pet spayed/neutered by the age of 9 months.
Due to the overwhelming number of stray kittens, we typically have a waiting list for families wanting to put kittens up for adoption. Please call and speak with Johanna Garvey, our Kitten Adoption Coordinator, if you have any kittens that you would like to be accepted into our program. Certain requirements and restrictions do apply.
