Flexible Scheduling

Town and Country Veterinary Clinic is the largest small animal clinic in the New River Valley, employing over 50 staff members including ten veterinarians, and because we are staffed 24 hours a day, an employee will always answer the phone!  Town & Country Veterinary Clinic is open seven days a week and has a convenient schedule to accommodate pet owners traveling to and from work.  Our routine appointments are scheduled between 9 am and 9 pm Monday through Friday. We offer round-the-clock drop off service with no additional fee for routine veterinary service.  After hour pick up or drop off fees do apply to boarding and grooming appointments. Walk-in’s are welcomed but if you wish to decrease your pet’s wait time, appointments are preferred.  Emergencies are handled 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

May it comfort you to know that your pet is never alone while staying at Town and Country.  Being staffed 24 hours a day gives you the ability to call our hospital any time of the day or night to check on your pet’s condition, whether he/she is boarding or has just had an emergency surgery.  Should the condition of your pet change while hospitalized, our staff will make every effort to contact you even if it is in the middle of the night.  Please feel free to contact our hospital about any of your pet’s needs at 540-382-5042.
